Hi fellow floaters!

I am designing my own tank. Just wondering where can I find the best buttons or light switches for the tank that won't get spoiled or stuck because of the salt?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I think your best bet is to go with a simple air switch. You are dealing with epsom salt which will crystalize on anything it drips on. With a plastic air switch, they are easy to rinse with water and are cheap and reasonably durable.

It seems the FlowVis® C-Saline Meter simply measures the flow rate of the solution, although that isn't totally clear.

"Pro Float Inc is the official Float Industry Distributor for the only NSF Certified FlowVis C-Saline Flow Meter. This product is new for 2017. Ingenious in concept and flawless in operation, FlowVis® C-Saline is revolutionizing the way float centre owners and operators measure flow. FlowVis® C-Saline is the most accurate, reliable, NSF certified flow meter ever developed for the float industry."

Thanks Kane! Presair air bellow are good buttons as well I think. Just wondering why would I want to know the flow rate? I thought flow vis was to check the gravity of the solution

A hydrometer or specific gravity/relative density guage will test the gravity. The flow rate of solution is important for commercial builds because it informs if there is a clog or if the filters need to be changed (psi gauge does that as well). For some systems, the flow rate controls the dosage of ozone that is injected (peristaltic pump can regulate with greater accuracy). On older systems the flow rate is extremely important for the filtration to properly skim.

Some municipalities, county, or state regulations may have a # of times solution is turned over between sessions which makes assuring this regulation is met easily. It is possible that future health regulations may require this of all centers.
